Though, we did discover that this vegetable is actually a strong natural diuretic. We suspect this is the reason the manufacturer chose this ingredient. All of the advertisements for this supplement promise rapid and quick weight loss results, and products on the market that make similar claims, like those that Lepto Trim makes, often turn to diuretics to meet these claims. Diuretics will expel any excess water out of the body and can fool dieters into thinking they are losing weight. Unfortunately, any weight that is lost is nothing but water and not actual fat. Usually, this water is quickly regained as well.
